Creative Arts

Our school places a high value on the creative arts as a vital part of a broad and balanced curriculum. We believe that opportunities in art, music, and performance enable pupils to express themselves, build confidence, and develop imagination and resilience.

Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 benefits from weekly creative arts lessons delivered by our skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant. This ensures consistency, expertise, and a real sense of excitement in every session. Pupils engage in a wide range of experiences, from visual arts to performance, allowing them to explore and develop their individual talents.

Our music curriculum is particularly strong, offering pupils rich and engaging opportunities to perform, compose, and appreciate music from a range of genres and traditions. We aim to inspire a lifelong love of music while developing technical skills and creativity.

We have high aspirations for all pupils in the creative arts and are committed to nurturing talent, encouraging participation, and celebrating achievement. Through this, we ensure that every child has the opportunity to shine creatively and develop a deep appreciation for the arts

Brass Tuition

This year we are delighted to be recipients of funding from The Humphrey Taylor Richardson Charitable Trust.

Their support has enabled us to team up with Surrey Arts to provide brass instruction to Year 4 , 5 and 6 this year.

We are looking forward to developing the 'Trinity Oaks Brass Band'.
