SIAMS

Trinity Oaks is the first Church of England (Voluntary Aided) school in the Horley area.

Our school is distinctively Christian but is also responsive to the needs of the local community and families of all religious faiths are warmly welcomed. Daily life is rooted in Christian teaching and values and we ask all parents of whatever faith to recognise and support this ethos and its importance to the School.

Church School Inspection

Our second church School SIAMS inspection took place November 2025.

Trinity Oaks Church of England Primary School is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish. It has the following notable strengths.

Notable Strengths

• A well-established set of values, rooted in the school’s biblical vision, shapes an inclusive culture. This fosters a unity of purpose among leaders and governors, who are relentless in their aspiration for pupils and their families. As a result, pupils and adults flourish, growing from tiny acorns into mighty oaks.

• Trinity Oaks is built on strong and trusted relationships which are rooted in unconditional love and kindness. This creates a deep sense of belonging where pupils and adults are known by name and their uniqueness embraced.

• Intentional curriculum and worship opportunities honour and celebrate the rich diversity of cultures, beliefs and lived experiences locally and around the world. As a result, pupils have a well developed understanding of justice and a profound respect for those whose lives differ from their own.

• Collective worship draws the school community together. Input and support from the local clergy team enriches weekly worship, deepening the biblical message and connection to the school’s values.

• The religious education (RE) curriculum is designed to enable pupils to explore a range of religious and nonreligious worldviews. It challenges pupils to think and reflect deeply on questions of belief and life.
