Mission Statement
Rooted in God’s love and Christian values, we are a school who treasure each individual, enabling them to flourish and achieve.
Our mission statement reflects a Christian belief that the world is God’s creation, full of diversity, beauty and potential. We believe it is a place where every person, created in God’s image, should be valued, respected and nurtured. Through kindness, compassion and integrity, we seek to model a world shaped by justice, love and community. We believe the world is full of hope and possibility, where all can grow, flourish and make a positive difference through perseverance and faith.
School Values
The school values underpin the whole school approach so children understand that being respectful, thankful, kind and compassionate apply throughout the day in the way in which we treat others within the school, while being aspirational and resilient applies to all our learning and not just in RE or worship. Teachers regularly discuss the school values in class, to enable the children to gain a deeper understanding and to reflect on and apply the values in their daily lives and learning.
Values Statement
We are thankful for the uniqueness of everyone in our community, created in God’s image, fostering relationships with integrity rooted in God’s love. We value and respect all people in our community. Our pupils, staff and families work together with kindness and compassion. to support each other. We are resilient learners who recognise that perseverance and risk-taking is the key to our aspirational goals and successes.
Our values are linked into the Anglican foundation and formed through consultation with the community and church. Our values reflects the Christian belief that every person is uniquely created in the image of God, with dignity, value and purpose. It promotes a culture of respect, inclusion and kindness, where all are recognised as children of God, created for relationship with Him and with one another. The emphasis on compassion and community reflects the belief that we grow together, supporting one another in love. By encouraging resilience, perseverance and aspiration, our vision affirms that all can flourish, even through challenge, as part of God’s ongoing work in us.
