At Acorns Preschool, we believe that children thrive when they are free to explore, discover, and follow their own unique interests. Whether your child joins us every day or attends part-time, they’ll find a nurturing environment that values their voice and supports their natural desire to learn. 

Children aged 3–4 enjoy the opportunity to mix with school-age peers, share in the experience of a hot school lunch, and gently begin to understand the rhythms of school life. 

Led by a qualified teacher and inspired by The Curiosity Approach, Reggio Emilia, and other child-centred philosophies, our provision is carefully planned to spark imagination and deepen engagement. We see the learning environment as the third teacher—a vital element that shapes how children feel, think, and grow. That’s why we prioritise calm, beautiful spaces filled with natural materials, authentic resources, and thoughtful provocations that invite exploration and creativity. 

Here, children are free to make their own choices, play with purpose, and grow in confidence. From developing problem-solving skills to building independence and critical thinking, our child-led environment nurtures every aspect of a child’s development—while making sure they have a lot of fun along the way.
