Trinity Oaks is the first Church of England (Voluntary Aided) school in the Horley area.

Our school is distinctively Christian but is also responsive to the needs of the local community and families of all religious faiths are warmly welcomed. Daily life is rooted in Christian teaching and values and we ask all parents of whatever faith to recognise and support this ethos and its importance to the School.

Church School Inspection

Our first church School SIAMS inspection took place this September 2017. There are 4 areas of inspection and they were graded as follows:

• Meeting the needs of all learners through the school’s distinctive Christian character: Outstanding

• The impact of collective worship on the school community: Good

• The effectiveness of the Religious Education: Good

• The effectiveness of Leadership and Management: Outstanding

This gave us an overall grading of Good.

We feel it paints a wonderful picture of our school. The inspector describes how the values and ethos of the school are lived out and appreciated by the whole school community and in particular she commented on the contribution of parents to the work of the school from the outset.

Governors’ Maintenance Fund

Trinity Oaks Church of England Primary School is a Voluntary Aided school. One of the things that make a Voluntary Aided school different from other schools is that the Board of Governors, through its Governors’ Maintenance Fund, is responsible to the Diocese of Southwark for a proportion of any major building development and maintenance costs. For this reason we ask all parents to make an annual contribution to the Fund to help ensure that in the coming years we can keep our school premises up to the standard that our children deserve.
